Lighting the Spark: Inspiring the Next Generation of Marketers

This past week, I had the absolute joy of stepping into a different kind of classroom—one filled with curiosity, energy, and endless potential. I was invited to speak to the Year 10 Enterprise students at St. Andrews International School Sukhumvit 107, and I walked away feeling deeply excited for the very generation I set out to inspire.

As someone who’s spent over a decade building brands, leading campaigns, and growing businesses, I know the power of marketing—not just as a career, but as a creative force that connects people, shapes culture, and drives change. That’s what I wanted to share with them. Not just the “how,” but the “why.”

I introduced them to the core pillars every marketer should know:

📌 Branding – who you are, how you make people feel (Your Vibe)
📌 Marketing – how you tell the world about your brand (Your Microphone)
📌 Consumers – understanding who you’re speaking to is the first and most critical step in Marketing (Your Audience)
📌 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – how you take care of your customers and make them feel valued (Your Connection)
📌 Budget Planning – how you create a profitable and sustainable business (Your Money behind the magic)

But more than tools and techniques, I wanted them to see marketing as a playground—a space where innovation has no ceiling, where creativity meets strategy, and where every ad, every campaign is a chance to leave a message, a mark, a feeling on the world.

To the students: If you love ideas, if you enjoy connecting dots, if you find joy in understanding people—marketing might just be your canvas. Your career path doesn’t have to be fixed. It can be as dynamic, daring, and diverse as you are.

And to the educators: thank you for nurturing environments where young minds can explore possibilities with confidence.
